Too big for emmisions
I am picking up a truck on 38s and was wondering if I went in for emmisions would they be able to do it. I mean, what if it was on 44s or 48s and didn't fit, would they pass it or fail it. Just curious. I am in Missouri.

Tires dont have nothing to do with emissions But local inspection laws are another thing Friend of mine runs 40s and he can get a sticker but its kinda of need to know thing Just depends on who you know ..
If they tell you there too big find someone that has large tires and see where they get there sticker at. |

No look safety inspections are easy to come by,but what if you are to big for the rollers at the emission station. We do rollers, like a dyno, not a just a sniffer. HMMMMMM....... I wonder they could dyno it while im there....lol

Here in NJ they just require large mud flaps on the rear.

They don't do ANYTHING like that in Maine, only the inspections, but ppl know all the good mechanic's around and get stickers with no problem. I know dudes with 20" of lift and 48's and they roll around all day long. Maine rocks.
