Put my Grill together
I have had this thing boxed for so many years I decided it was time to break it open and put it together. As NOS parts go it isn't perfect and has wear but I can't just go buy one.

I went through "the most original" thread and found these examples of original paint trucks with aluminum grills and black letters. |

Re: Put my Grill together
Have to agree with Bruce here , 100% positive these trucks came off the assembly line with painted grille letters. Doubt you will ever see an NOS grille with painted letters. Its the finishing touch !! I think the problem with used grilles , especially aluminum , is people use steel wool back then or SOS pads to clean them , paint will come off quick that way.

Re: Put my Grill together
I guess I will have to add the black , I will fine line the letters and give it a quick satin coat, it will make it look better anyways.
