Good luck! I just finished mine, turned out well but took a lot more time than I expected behind the grinding wheel.

It's a 66. Nothing fancy, I used a cheep 29 buck Harbor Freight reciprocating saw. Wen't slow and the cuts turned out clean and straight. The best investment was actually the 100 bucks worth of clamps to hold it all perfect.

I want to do it myself and have plasma, little lincoln mig that I just bought. Not worried about the cutting by I don't know how to weld yet. Just wondering if 400 is worth paying someone to do it?

All cut and brought back together. Didn't have a picture of the other cuts. Great job by Josh @ freeman fabrications orange ca.

Looks good! What else are you doing to the truck? Is this a restoration, daily driver?

Plan on just using it to cruise around local. I plan on bagging it on 22's, porterbuilt frame stiffner, pipe or step notch. There is a lot I want to do but everything comes down to money.
