62' stepside on 64' chassis
Ok I have a 62' going on a 64' chassis and I know I have to move some mounts. My bed is a fleetside.and I have the opportunity to get a 62' shortbed stepside. Can it be made to fit on the 64 chassis will it bolt on?

Re: 62' stepside on 64' chassis
You can make anything fit and a short fleet and a short step use the same mounts. Be sure to check your local DMV about the VIN/ chassis difference before you sink a lot of money/time in it

Re: 62' stepside on 64' chassis
Yes it will work with a few mods. However as Clyde65 said, check with your local DMV before getting to carried away with the swap. You will need to find out what they require to make a frame swap legal since your cab and frame VIN's will no longer match.
