New to the family...
My son got rid of his Jeep and bought a 1985 K20. It is a solid truck, 8600lb gross weight. factory 4.10s. It has a TH400 w/ NP208. Not going to lift it, probably paint it and drive it. The sun did a number on the hood and roof. Only rust through is under the battery tray and I have replacement for it.

Re: New to the family...
NP 208. Was that the full time t case? Looks like you have lockouts on the front. Nice truck for sure. It will look great with a paint job!

Re: New to the family...
Did that 8600 GVW pkg exclude catalytic convertors? Does it not have "unleaded fuel only" at the filler? Those trucks had factory dual exhaust and tube exhaust manifolds. I know they were like that in '86, but not sure on '85

Re: New to the family...
It sure did Tim, it has the tube exhaust manifolds and appears to have factory dual exhaust. Does not have the unleaded fuel only at either filler. I will get some pics tomorrow of the engine. What I don't like is the 2 AIR pumps on the pass side down low only run off of the water pump pulley. Does that sound right?

Re: New to the family...
The 208 is part time, usually had auto locking hubs. They have been swapped out.

Re: New to the family...
We bought it from a guy about 240 miles from us. Drove it home with no issues.

Re: New to the family...
Had to do a little work on her today. Steering gear box, pump, drag link ends, left tie rod end, ball joints and discs and pads. Oh yeah, steering damper too.
