60-62 burb rear end

trying to see what's the best option and least work to swap out my eaton
on my 62 burb
I see a lot of references to a late 90's impala or ss but cannot find anything specific
any guide to a post or input

I see Captain Fab sells mounts and the like.

I would upgrade to a truck 12 bolt. A '63-'70 12 bolt will be the same width and 6 lug. The '71-'82's will be 1.5" wider and 5 lug. Either way, you will have to move the trailing arm mounts and add the correct panhard bar mount.

I have read that the '94-'96 Impala/Caprice differential is close to the same width, but of course will have the 5 x 5 wheel stud pattern. Member Oklahomaduner put a Colorado differential under his '66 GMC that was I think 1" narrower. I want to say it was a 2007?
