Progress on interior cab patching...

For those of you who were interested, here is proof (for me really)
that this part of my project may be getting finished soon.

This pics show my drivers rocker, which had already been patched up with aluminum and rivets, what I might add is really damn sturdy. also there is enough original steel under them that they well hold out for a good while!!!
I had one hole right by the set belt and i took some aluminum and beat it into shape and fit it in with some rivets....looks ok to me and is pretty sturdy...the next pic is my passenger side kick panel vent....or lack there of....the rim of the frame for the vent hole had been rotted out so I just sprayed some rust converter and took another sheet of aluminum and beat and riveted it into place. I don't care much for the ventilation, I can deal with only one vent. I have already made some kick panel covers out of the leftovers from whatever amount I cut from my bed mat to fit my step. so they are ready to be glued in and sheet metal screwed as soon as I have my carpet in.
