Tire size help

What's up fellas got a question for ya I'm currently building a 51 Chevy on a s10 frame I'm doing an ls swap and custom back half frame section with a traingulated 4 link. My question is how wide of a tire would be best for keep traction I'd like to run 15x12s but tires aren't easy to find with ready white walls so thanks for any input guys have a good one

Re: Tire size help

I think it is going to come down to if you want a 29 inch tall tire or a 31 inch tall tire with those rims and that setup.

One of my buddies has these for his truck and they are wide and tall.

71 GMC 2500 that is getting a Cad 500 transplant.
77 C 30 dualie, 454, 4 speed with a 10 foot flatbed and hoist. It does the heavy work and hauls the projects around.

Re: Tire size help

I think a tire the will fit that in a wide white is going to be a little tuff unless you go for something like this. You can get this in a 12" section width.
