Lowering
Hello,
I am looking a send my truck another 3 inches closer to the pavement (72 GMC 1/2 Ton). I want a level look, no rake. The spring set I am looking at is the 3" front and 3" rear sets from Eibach. Should I have different drops from front to rear? Will I run into troubles with this amount of drop? As far as rubber and rims go, I am going to have 15x10 alloys with 295/50R15s. Thanks in advance. j.

To give your truck a level look you have to go down a lot more in the back than the front. My truck is down 6" in the back and only 3" up front and its still raked 1" although it doesnt look like that. Here is a pic of the 3/6 drop:

To level most trucks to have to drop the rear to inches more than the front. If you take a look at my web site, I went with 2.5 spidals and 4' shackel/hanger. The truck is as close to level as you can get and keep some usability in the truck. I have trouble with the bump stops because I have not cut them. I plan on doing it sometime but I will probably won't need to with the addition of some custom made traction bars.

the same size tires all the way around helps at level look to. are you running thoughs up front to. i was thinking that size tire before to
