66 neutral safety switch adjustment

I've got a 66 c10 that I put a brothers steering column in. I've got NSS/REV LIGHT switch wired up. The engine will start in park, reverse, neutral and don't get back up lights till it's in drive. Engine doesnt start in drive as well. Is there and adjustment or am I missing? something?

Re: 66 neutral safety switch adjustment

The switch has a plastic tab with a groove.....remove switch....place the shift lever in Park.....adjust the switch tab to match the column metal flange .....install....
