Dumb question for headlights??
OK so I have what seems like a really dumb question. I have been replacing headlights for decades and though I haven't replaced this style on this truck for a while. I can't find one that fits. The plug doesn't fit the pins on headlight at all. Like the back of the headlight needs to protrude out further to allow the pins to go into the connector.
Any ideas?? Thanks! |

Re: Dumb question for headlights??
Looks like a mod plug in. Cut that rubber back until it fits.

Re: Dumb question for headlights??
That stinks. I Realized after I posted this that it should be over in the 73-87 side. But not sure how to move it. That is a factory plug for 70s anyways. Not sure of 80s.
Maybe I'll just extract the pins and get another plug. I don't really want to cut it. I wonder if everyone has this issue?? Thanks. |

Re: Dumb question for headlights??
There is not much point in having the extra rubber on the connections. It want hurt a thing. The lights want know the difference and it want hurt them.
