Pontiac Engine Into 1976 K20 Advice

My 1976 K20 4 wheel drive engine just bit the dust. I have a rebuilt Pontiac 389 that I was thinking about putting into it. It presently is in a '63 Grand Prix and I have done a transmission swap to a Turbo 400, so it has an adapter plate for the starter and for bolts lining up (got it from Wilcap adapters). Anyway, the truck is a standard shift. Instead of figuring this out myself, I figured I'd ask how to switch from using an automatic to bolting it up to the standard. I've heard people mention that Firebird motor mounts are used? Thanks for any advice. My first post ever.
