Post sagging c10

my 69 c-10 4x4 shortbed stepsides rear is sagging like an old woman, i want to put new shocks on allaround, but dont know jack about suspension. would this fix it or should i put in some helper springs also, has anyone had any luck with those things? i dont see how they help an old leaf sping.or should i just go with complete new leaf springs? (lots of money would have to wait awhile) im on a tight budget, and am willing to give up perfect to have funtion. thanks

its probably springs cuz shocks dont really hold the truck up they just do what their name says and absorb shocks or bumps

thanks for the advice, i realize this is a k10 frame and suspension but the body is a c10, says the VIN anyway, you never know with a really old truck.
