1968.5 C10 with Oldsmobile 303 original ?

Is it possible to have an oldsmobile engine 303ci in a c10 from factory?

An old story about gm had no more 327 or 283 in the mid 1968 and decided to put olds engine in it

Plausible or just a swap over the years?

thanks

About as plausible as the corvette option.

GM didn't run out of anything. They produced parts surpluses. No such thng as '68.5. Plenty of late '68s here with original 307s and 327s. '67 was last year for 283 and '68 the first for 307, so they had plenty 307s to built ahead of them. Did you mean 330 cu in? That came out in '67 in Olds, not Chevy trucks
