Has anyone used this tank? Boyd's Aluminum Fuel Tank
Hey y'all, was curious if anyone has used this tank on their builds? I like that the pump is in the tank so the pump will stay cool. They say it'll fit but you never know.

Re: Has anyone used this tank? Boyd's Aluminum Fuel Tank
I have one with out the pump in the tank in my 66 and it is a nice fit and a pretty simple install. It needs the spare tire brace removed but that has to go for all the rear tanks. I have a second one sitting here on the floor that will go in soon. It has the in tank pump and like everything else Boyd welding does its a nice piece. Got the rest of the fittings in today for the efi install.

Ditto what Jimmy said.
I also have the external pump and it's not loud at all( Pierburg)

I have that tank. I haven't run it yet, but it's been installed for a few years now. Had to remove one small crossmember which was no biggie. I welded nuts to my frame that the tank bolts to, so it's easy to drop the tank once the bed is on. Seems like a very high quality unit.

I have this tank in my '66. Pump in tank, pretty simple effort to install it. I've got about 600 miles since I put it in and I'm quite happy with it. I've never spent a millisecond regretting the decision to buy one.
