Suspension Parts ID Please

This stuff was included in a 69 suburban that I bought a few years ago. I compared with my 4wd's but I can't see where they mount. Maybe it's a 2 we'd thing. Anyhow, interested in getting the names, so I can list them. Thank you!

Re: Suspension Parts ID Please

I believe the first photo is a pair of coil spring overload or helper springs. They bolt to the frame behind the rear axle. I think they are 60 to 72 items.

Re: Suspension Parts ID Please

As stated in post 3, the 1st photo shows the helper leaves for the auxiliary spring option available on the 2WD trucks. I'm not sure if the leaves for 1/2 and 3/4 ton trucks had the same spring rates. To be used they also need the bracket with the rubber bumper as shown in the pictures below. The brackets are mounted below the axle using the u-bolts that also secure the axle and shock mounts to the trailing arms. The second picture shows the bottom of the bracket with bumper attached.

I'm not familiar with your other part.

Re: Suspension Parts ID Please

second pic looks to me like a track bar, which centers the differential side to side in the frame.

Re: Suspension Parts ID Please

Pretty sure that track bar is off a 93-98 grand cherokee. Just looked under my dd and the bar looks the same.

Re: Suspension Parts ID Please

Yes, a front track bar for beam axle with coil springs. Dodge, Jeep and even Ford trucks
