Pulled axles on a 65 12 bolt question
I pulled my axles last nightvsnd when I pulled the large pin in the rear end (the one that keeps the axles in place) I noticed it was a bear to get out. I've seen guys pull them with magnets. Had to really reef on it with a screwdriver through the hole back and forth la la la. Should I be concerned? Easy visibly bent but I did not take any measurements either. Thanks Charlie

Re: Pulled axles on a 65 12 bolt question
If the crosspin is galled or damaged, they are cheap and easy to get.
Yukon Gear part number YSPXP-038 https://www.yukongear.com/productdet...spx?ProdID=504 Summit has them in stock for 14 bucks. https://www.summitracing.com/parts/yga-33406 |
