Today's boneyard haul!
I love a good junkyard! Finally cleared out the last of the bits I could get from one yard that I've been going to for a few years.
'61 cable-operated kick panel vents, Deluxe heater control head, Deluxe Heater core (with the thermostat-controlled water valve that isn't reproduced), floor-shift steering column collar and turn-signal switch (with cancelers that are still good), rust-free driver's side inner fender, tight hood hinges, 3/4-ton torsion bars, 3/4-ton trailing arms, a high-hump firewall flange, and a single 15x8 4-nub 6-lug wheel. Stopped at another yard for an inventory trip, and they've got a '61 dump truck with a grill and decent, complete Deluxe heater set-up. I'll be going back for those (the grill has a little damage, but it isn't rusted, and I think I can repair the dent. No headlight trim rings, but I've got spares here... buckets are good). I'll probably grab that steering column collar too. -Brad
