Will these speakers work for my stock 71 AM radio?

Looking for a replacement speaker to work with my stock AM radio in my 1971 C10.

Are these what I need?

If you have the original mounting provision and want a speaker with moderate improvement over the original you want the 4" x 10" special rectangle here:

Re: Will these speakers work for my stock 71 AM radio?

My understanding was that the ohm rating of the speaker(s) needs to match that of the radio or you may wreck/defeat some of the circuitry, and I'm not sure what the original ohm rating of the radio is.

Correct. In fact the AM radios I have say "do not operate without 8-10 ohm speaker" on the top. The speaker I linked above is 10 ohms.

Sounds good... pun intended. I didn't mention in my post that I have one and it performs very well.
