WTB: Governor for Borg Warner Overdrive

I'm searching for a governor for my overdrive. The threads should be about 1 inch, give or take. I was told that there are only two sizes for the threads and mine is the smaller of the two. It should look something like this, but without the gear:

Name: 8M-6943-ODgovernor.jpg
Views: 168
Size: 13.9 KB

Thanks for any leads.

Maybe try the 55-7 chevy cars, they had overdriven, has to be a forum for those cars. Also post up in the earlier truck fourum 55 and up, both body styles, lots of overdrive sin those years of trucks, not very common in our years

I had one of those trans. It's a different governor. I think the the Saginaw OD was only used in the late 60's. I think It needs to be 68-69. All the early ones used a Muncie trans.

That claim on his eBay ad is why I called him. Maybe he's hoarding what he has and only selling them with complete units.
