pics of C20 rear ends?
Can anyone point me in the right direction to find out which rear end I have? Pictures will work for me best.
The rear cover is perfectly round and has 10 bolts as well as the fill hole. The front is finned and offset to the Pass side and has 10 bolts as well. Sorry I don't have access to a camera to post mine.

does it look like this?
or this? the first axle is an Eaton HO52, easily ID'ed because of the large round diff. the second is a dana 60, which has a different shape to it. both have 10 bolts holding the cover on.

It's probably the H052 if it's round w/ a cover and drop out center section.

I believe it is an Eaton HO52.
Were they used in any other vehicles that you know of?

Cant think of first year the eaton ho52 was used but probably 47-72. Tough diff... parts are not readily available new... but after 35 years in some of my trucks there still good.
Some of these have an optional detroit locker in them... detroit lockers are worth some money. I cant find any new rear drake drums for my duallie that has one of these type diffs be it called a ho72. I think I saw something very similar in an international truck... so I assume they were used in other vehicles also. Thats not so unusual.. happens often by parts suppliers. I like them and have a spare if I need it for parts. Their heavy to move.
