72 c10 body with 85 k10 frame
I have a 72 c10 and I'm looking at a 85 k10 frame. How hard would it be to put my body on the frame that I'm looking at and what all would I need

Re: 72 c10 body with 85 k10 frame
Newer frame rises up in the tear about 1" more than 67-72, so need 1" lift on cab forward. The other thing to deal with is the newer frame is around 3" longer in front of cab, So, axle sits a bit forward...can be shifted back using zero-rate springs. And, the radiator support needs to move back/cut off frame ends. We just used universal bushings through the frame. That's all I can think of right now. I think that was all.
