Front Group "Closing Panel"

Does anyone know where to get the 'closing panel' that the gasket material attaches to? Been looking for reproduction stuff and can only find the gasket material, as pictured. Thanks for any info.

Those are part of the fender most of the time. If you could find some junk fenders you could get these and crush the rest. Good luck tho!

The closing panels are not reproduced. You will have to find good used ones.

Re: Front Group "Closing Panel"

Hi guys - I got reproduction pieces for these closing panels this winter - will look at the invoices when I get home but I think I got them from Scott's super trucks in Red Deer Alberta Canada. They fit well in my 66 C10

Re: Front Group "Closing Panel"

I can confirm The Truck Shop in Orange, Ca sells them. I bought everything for the closing panels earlier this year. They have it advertised on E-holay as well. http://www.ebay.com/itm/1964-1965-19...pXtdyr&vxp=mtr

Re: Front Group "Closing Panel"

I stand corrected. I had not seen those reproductions.

Negative, the truck shop has accidentally omitted those from their paper catalog. $56 is for the 4 piece rubber set which includes the fender to cowl seals. $68 is for 2 piece stamped metal seal retainers that originally had the rubber clamped on with giant mondo staples. I just used about 5 or 6. 5/16 drive self tapping sheet metal screws. They are the only ones reppoing these and they are of a good quality and fit in my opinion.
