hmmm.... good news for me?
well, since my neighbor was complaining about me waking him and his wife up in the morning and told me that i needed to do something about it, my dad talked to him and then decided that he would order me new mufflers.
so what model aerochambers do i need? 2.5" pipes. i see that they come in "offset/offset" and "center/offset" which would be best? |

Eric, you need two of these..
Hooker Maximum Flow Muffler Trust me dude, at idle, they are quieter than Aerochambers. I'll even prove it, by comparing mine and Tyler's (APstGuy) trucks. |

Every engine is different. I noticed when my truck had a 270 Magnum cam it was a lot louder than stock cam. With the stock cam and headers its still very much quieter than the 270 and manifolds. Compression will also change the tone and loudness of an exhaust.

personally i would have went with the shortest cherry bombs or glass packs i could find...then see how they like it..i got a witch across the street from me that complained to the people who own the lot im renting about my truck being to loud, an i had just put a new muffler on it... , i cuaght her coming home from work an asked her if she would like cherry bombs or straight pipes better....NEVER try to mess with my babies.....i figure that as long as it will pass inspection, im legal, of couse it helps to know sombody who would pass it with straight pipes but since then there have been know compliants....
