Hub Cap Help!!
Hi All,
I have a 65 C20. I recently painted the wheels and it really made the hubs stand out as an eye sore. I'd like to put on baby moons but I don't think thats possible as the hub on the rear protrudes out further than the front and is completely shaped differently (see pics). The rear hub protrudes out almost 3 inches and is 4" in diameter. The front is much smaller. I dont think Ill be able to put on the baby moons with the rear sticking out that far, even though this is the look that I prefer. What do people do who have C20s? What are my options for hub / center caps so the front and rear can match? If found some centercaps on ebay, but they will fit the rear, but wont fit the front because the font is smaller. help! Thanks! |

Re: Hub Cap Help!!
I don't think I have ever seen a set of baby moons for a 3/4 ton, not to say there aren't any. I have only seen the stock center caps with the orange/red center and bowtie or the later model(73-?) style center caps.

Re: Hub Cap Help!!
On the 71 Blazer 4x4, the front hub caps are almost like baby moons with a cut-out for the locking hub.
Not sure if they're the same size, but perhaps something to look into? B |

Re: Hub Cap Help!!
I say paint those hubs with satin black and they'll look tough! (At least 'till you find some C20 caps.)

Re: Hub Cap Help!!
You don't happen to have a Part # or a link, do you? I found some baby moons from another company a while back, bit they are very thin metal and prone to denting just installing them. I inquired with WV back then but at the time they had none. Guess they finally do, great to hear.

Re: Hub Cap Help!!
Are these the split rims? I have these on mine, been trying to gather ideas on what to do to run a radial. I like your paint. I've been painting my wheels red on just about every car/truck I've had since I was 16-(and that was a looong time ago!)
Keep us posted on what your do with pictures...slim Last edited by denverslim; 10-26-2017 at 05:28 PM. |

Re: Hub Cap Help!!
Upon closer look yours do not look like the split rims that are on mine. Do you know what the lug bolt centers are? 16" wheels right? Any one know what are the largest size tire that will go on a wheel like yours? Thanks in advance! slim
