Re: 67-72 Burbs and Panels 2wheel drive only
That's great, glad it worked out for you. Hopefully you mentioned my name so next time I'm at his place he will give me another free hot wheel style truck for my grandson

Re: 67-72 Burbs and Panels 2wheel drive only
I actually did mention that someone on the forum referred me, though I didn't remember a name. Fell free to take credit, and put the hot wheels on my tab.

Re: 67-72 Burbs and Panels 2wheel drive only
Wayne,
Truck looks great with the new wheels. It just needs a little altitude adjustment, in my opinion. How do you like driving the truck with those mirrors? I was on the fence about purchasing a set and went with the stock mirrors instead. I thought the mirrors on your truck wouldn't give much visibility. Nick |

Thank you and I agree on the altitude adjustment, Nick. I've been researching my options with another couple inches of drop. The mirrors were on the truck when I purchased it. Visibility is very good on the driver's side, I can't see the passenger side mirror at all - it's only there for visual balance. With the expanse of glass in the Suburban, I don't have any issues with visibility when driving, day or night. Thanks! I can't say enough how happy I am with the way it turned out. I have been driving it everyday since I put the new wheels/tires on

Re: 67-72 Burbs and Panels 2wheel drive only
Just picked this up last week. Factory Big Block running driving C20. It will be getting an ls swap gonna get rid of the slotted mags engine and trans. New family truckster! As you can see the inspector is taking a close look at things. Kid loves all my old trucks.

Re: 67-72 Burbs and Panels 2wheel drive only
Yes it was up in Winslow AZ it has very little rot needs both front outer rockers and lower outer rear 1/4s. Everything else rock solid. I was up there looking at a 67 lwb and this was sitting on the other side of the street so I went over there and asked if it was for sale the owner said sure. It will be fun. Thanx

Re: 67-72 Burbs and Panels 2wheel drive only
I bought this 1971 C20 in Portland Oregon in 2015. It was a BB Burb with auto trans and buckets /console, tilt, tach and the rear tailgate door. After pondering for a year and some whether to redo it and install A/C I decided to sell it. The sideways pic is in front of Classic Heartbeat in Olympia Washington as I stopped there and bought some parts on the way home.
