Exceedingly few are half the husband Jim is proven to be by these photos.

My hat's off to you Jim for being the human that you are. If there's a "big book" up there somewhere your reward is assured.

Thanks joedoh and Dan. To me it's just being a husband, I know in my heart, that if I were in her place, she would be right there. I guess we were just made for each other.

Thanks Ray, she was just so happy to be going someplace other than a doctor visit. When I took here back, she just cried and said she was so happy. Made my day. I'm trying to stay below 200, just don't eat as much and work out a little.

Jim

Good on ya, you are a man among men, unfortunately our current society is full of excuses to throw away love one. I showed this to my spouse and we both shed a few tears. Your a great man, I hope to be as good as you in the future..

Wow Wow Wow. Good on ya.

Great truck stellar.

Oh my!! Yes it really is amazing how things like your truck have such an imprint on our lives. You have an awesome relationship, so nice to see. I hope I have that kind of bond when I get older.

Hey guys, can't put to words how great it makes me feel, that all of you have responded to this. All I can say is I never knew years ago, that I would step-up when the time came. I know in my heart that each of you would do the same. We just have to deal with LIFE, as it is pushed toward us. God bless all of you, and I appreciate every word...Jim

You are a hell of a man. By the way it is a truck story, the human beings behind them are important also. Good man.

Re: My 50 roadster pickup build

Hey everyone. We did our fall run to Gaston's today. Weather was in the 50's by noon, so it was a nice day. Took a few pics of the cars in our group, some brought their daily drivers, but still had a few classics. Got to watch a couple planes take off, and a couple land, before heading home. I'm also showing my GPS with the milage.

This was my last outing this year. HOPEFULLY, next week I will start tearing apart the truck, and getting things ready for the repaint. Will post up some of the pics along the way...Jim

Re: My 50 roadster pickup build

looks like fun jim, thanks for sharing!

fun fact: that v-tail bonanza was nicknamed "doctor killer" because the "ruddervators" were extremely sensitive to weight and balance and even a coat of spray paint on the magnesium would induce flutter.
