Just about had it...

We've had our Blazer on ebay three times with out even getting close what it is worth. So, I am going to throw this out there. If the auction ends without selling, is there anyone here interested in the entire 4x4 drivetrain complete from transmission to wheels??? I am going to convert it to 2 wheel drive, bag and drive the #($@ out of it. I will be putting a 700R4 or 4L60E tranny in. It's weird that a two-wheel seems to be worth more than a four-wheel drive. Later, FCG

What are you looking to get for the chassis? What's been redone or replaced?

All that and no inner fenders. Why are there no inner fenders on a show truck. I do believe that is grounds for disqualification in any show, being incomplete.

show truck

I didn't notice that till you pointed it out ! you would think he would want to keep that motor clean , he put the right tranny in it thought if you want that overdrive thats the only way too go 4L80 thats the solid one !! not like those junk 700r or 4L60 , but unfortunatly I cant afford that truck , mabee im just as cheep as the rest of those guys on ebay .

FCG--don't get your dobber down. It's hard to sell any used vehicle now when a guy with $5 in his pocket can go to a dealer and get a 5 year, no-interest, no down payment loan and drive off in a new Z-71 or whatever. Have you noticed the used car lots? They're packed!
As for Ebay--I'm not sure whether I'm one of the "cheepies" (SP) guys or not--I thought the buyers on Ebay were usuns! I didn't know they had there own "guys"!!!!!!! Learn sumpin' every minute.

Krazy, You should have chased me down. I have only met a few board members. We traded a 67 Camaro Convertible, we paid $11,000 for, for the Blazer. I have come to the conclusion that $9500 is the best we will ever see. I have decided that I wasn't going to let it go for less than that.

I have alway wanted a bagged Blazer for a daily driver. I like the 4X4 but it is a rough rider for a daily driver. I am working on getting all the parts to put together a two-Blazer frame so all I have to do is swap the body out.
I am probably going to end up selling the entire chassis complete with engine, tranny, etc. My neighbor has a two post lift that they lift bodies off of frames all the time. This would be pretty easy. I am very partial to the two wheel drive variety. I could actually drive a two wheel drive a long distance COMFORTABLY. Later, FCG
