question about stock disk brake calipers

I changed my fron brake pads on my 72 project truck today.

I noticed that the calipers have a zerk fitting on the top with a blue cap over the zerk. Do I grease this point with chassis grease?

Are you sure that's not a brake fluid bleeder?

Woooooo, that is a bleeder, unless you work in the Wal-Mart Tire and Lube Department!

Definately the bleeder, positioned at the top to let the air bubbles out.

Go ahead and grease away. Also, I have a brand new set of calipers for sale
JK, it is a bleeder valve. In fact it is much easier to open your calipers if you crack that valve open then push the piston back in the caliper. Just attatch a hose from the end into a can. You may need to re up your brake fluid afterwards, but it also gets some of the crud out of the system too.
