It's Official!! My new toy

I finally got her home. She's got a few minor problems but all is there. There is some minor rust, upholstery, and carpet issues that I will deal with first. The exterior will come next. I am thinking of white with black top, a 2 - 4 inch lift w/ 33" tires, and alluminum pollished rims. I've got an idea of what I want her to look like but not the budget right now. I am sure I will have a lot of questions when it comes time for the restoration.

Thanks again for the great board. I enjoy everyones posts.

I was going to ask the same thing. It looks like a parking brake handle or something. Maybe it is a handle to pull yourself up into it?

Anyway, it looks like a nice rig. I see you went without the monster front bumper. It looks a little like my rig now (without the lift...)

The wierd things on the dash by the doors are gun mounts. There is also a mount on the floor for the butt of the gun. These will be coming out!

Thanks! I bought it from the original owner who parked it every evening in the garage. It does have some rust but most of it is surface stuff. I will probably just replace the entire passenger door when I go to do the body work and paint job.

So are you going to keep the gun mounts? Good luck looks like you've got a good start.
