Re: Fenders, door and other parts

Id like to say I will take the RH fender. Curious as to exact color or year of truck it came from. Do you have a picture of the bottom rear outside of fender ?

Here’s a pic of the bottom corner. You can see it has a tiny rust spot but not rusted through. I believe this is off a ‘61 but I couldn’t guarantee it.

Re: Fenders, door and other parts

Damn. I need a good painted bumper for my 65 GMC, can't find one anywhere. Don't see myself making the 600 mile drive up US-101 any time soon though. If you change your mind about shipping please keep me in mind. But I also have no concept of how much shipping on a bumper would even run, might be cost prohibitive. I just don't want to switch to a repop chrome one as it wouldn't go w/ the rest of the truck.

I'll take the single fender if Jon passes. I can pick up.

Say, you wouldn't by chance be driving that single fender home past San Francisco or Sacramento, would you? I see your location listed as SoCal. Maybe the painted bumper could hitch a ride south with you? I live between San Francisco and Santa Rosa but could come across to I5 area as well.

Maybe a log shot, but doesn't hurt to ask.

I will weigh it when I go back to work next week and get an idea of shipping cost. I'm guessing it will be too high to make sense.

Jweb, got a pic of the bumper? Sounds like the bumper might be able to hitch a ride down to my neck of the woods of the fender works out.

Don't worry about shipping, if the shipping train doesn't work out I'll just keep my eyes open for one closer. I suspect you're right about shipping cost and I don't want you to go through the hassle of weighing it.

I will see if I have a big enough box at work. If you think you’ll be out this way that might be better, I hate to see this get damaged in shipping. If you want to pay for it I have no problem holding it as long as needed.

Ah well, still interested in a pic of the bumper when you get a chance. Maybe I can figure out another way to get it down the coast.
