Re: Radiators
I don't have any experience with them, but Cold Case radiators have a lifetime warranty. Not too expensive either. FYI... I ordered one for a LS swap a few days ago at the Goodguys show in Charlotte. These haven't hit the market yet but he said I should have it by the first of the year. I got the LS style radiator, shroud, and dual electric fans for $500 w/ free shipping. I didn't have to pay for it yet either so If I change my mind before it arrives, I'm not on the hook for it.

Re: Radiators
this is the reply fron cold case
David, We don't offer a LS swap version for a chevy truck. What that person probably got was our A-Body LS Swap radiator which is similar and could work in its place. Check it out online here: http://coldcaseradiators.com/buick/6...inum-radiator/ COLD-CASE Radiators 2705 Clemens Rd B103 Hatfield, PA 19440 www.coldcaseradiators.com

Re: Radiators
My problem was the stock radiator was shot so i bought the all aluminum radiator and now the stock replacment rads are aluminum with plastic tanks so that sounds crappy to me

Re: Radiators
Ive got a stock replacement cold case and so far it looks nice. I pulled it out of the box and looked at it but that was about it. The thing that sold me on it were the stamped aluminum tanks, I just think they look better than fabricated tanks.

Re: Radiators
I am thinking of trying a big champion for the price you can't beat them. I would like to see a detailed photo of the install.
. My Griffin was not a great fit from new and is at least 6 years old just starting to crack bad in the epoxy .It's days away from leaking bad I can smell it.

Re: Radiators
Is your external tranny cooler in front of the radiator? Does it have a dedicated cooling fan?

Re: Radiators
Griffin radiators suck. They are just down the road from me and I want buy them. They are not customer friendly at all.
I went to them when I did the 6.0 LS swap and they basicly told me no they wouldn't build me a radiator. 4 years and it's not showing any sign of leaking. Full welded no expoxy! http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/s...d.php?t=681849

Re: Radiators
If you haven't already picked up a new radiator heres my feedback. I have a Champion CC369 which is a 3 row for my 5.3 from Jegs.com. I only have about 750 miles on my Ls but the radiator is really nice. fully welded tanks, trans cooler connections, and even a heater hose input which I used for my steam vent lines. It inst hot here in Cali at the moment but my truck is cooling just fine. for the price they are hard to beat. full disclosure I used to sell Champion radiators and got decent feedback but didnt have personal experience with one installed in my truck until recently because my existing rad was fine. So far so good since install.
