Does any supplier make a battery tray/brackets for the driver side???

Was just wondering, of course for a 67-72. I would like to put 2 batteries under the hood of my 67 and 68, and make it look like factory. I realize fabricating them isn't too big of a deal, looking original would be awesome!!!

I'm pretty sure that most repro parts vendors sell the battery tray assembly. I bought just the floor portion for my 68 from National Parts Depot if I remember correctly.

If my memory serves me correctly, I think you can make a passenger side work on the driver side. I pretty sure that's what I did on a buddy's truck a few years back.

Thanks!!!
Hmmm, That would make it a fairly good selling part, if enough folks bought them.
I looked at a tray and brackets I had laying around, I'm sure they could be made to work, but not exactly the way I would want to go...

I finally figured out how to look at the Brothers piece, it's exactly what I wanted!!! Their description said that there was an auxillary battery option, this part could be used as such, but was also for LS swaps!!!

I added a universal one to my 71 c10 with 402 back in the 80's for my camper battery , just don't remember what brand . Of coarse that has been a day or two.

Re: Does any supplier make a battery tray/brackets for the driver side???

Im late to the party but I'm running the Brothers Trucks aux battery tray on my LS build. Quality heavy duty piece and fit really nice.
Not the best pic but here it is. Also running their hold down bracket BHDR072. They sell the Auxiliary battery harness as well ABH7072 but it specified for a 70-72, not sure whats different exactly.

Making battery cables to join the 2 batteries together would not be too difficult...

Re: Does any supplier make a battery tray/brackets for the driver side???

I ran a battery isolator . 1 wire to isolator from alternator and to each battery from there.
