71cheyenne factory tach
Does anyone know what hole in firewall harness goes through to install factory tach ? Thanks BOZO

The first picture is for '72. I would presume '71 would be the same. The second is from the assembly manual.... LockDoc

That is correct. 67 is the only year it was not routed the same.
The hole size is 3/4 inch.

For the people reading this that have a '67, the tach wire for them exited through the same grommet as the oil pressure line, the Brown tach wire was shorter, and it did not have the built in firewall grommet on the wire. LockDoc

I just did mine last week on my 69. I can get you a picture, but it's just like the one already posted. You just choose one of those dimples and drill a 3/4" hole, I used a hole saw and it worked great.
