Shocks
The shocks on my 1969 C 10 seem OK , but they are 15 years old and have about 30,000 miles on them . Mostly use this truck to haul yard waste anywhere from 400 to 900 pounds . Wonder if a new set of shocks with the helper springs would be a good idea ? Feel sure my OE springs are pretty tired . THANKS !!

Re: Shocks
New shocks can never hurt, especially considering how old they are. I replaced all my shocks on my 70 C20 a while ago with standard Monroe replacements. Much improved. If your truck is not squatting with a reasonable load, then you probably don't need to replace springs.

Re: Shocks
One of the very few options my truck came with was H/D rear springs . Just wondered if anyone had used the shocks with springs . Truck doesn't seem to squat too much with a load . THANKS for your reply .
