Picture of brake booster showing general differences...closest booster is 67-70 or so, 3/4ton drum brake. Note the cab mounting brackets are shorter.

If your master has a deep hole you need the long stickout, you can buy a “hole filler” from CPP to fill the hole to use the short stick out booster.
I think early trucks and all with manual brakes have the deep master cylinder hole, the deep hole prevents the rod from falling out of the master on manual brake trucks.

I put the picture of the early booster for manual brakes in the thread for reference, you could buy this adapter to make the booster work....

The adapter changes the master cylinder bore depth and would allow you to use the short stick out booster in the first post with your manual brakes master cylinder.

If that works for you send funds via the link to my paypal in my signature line, put a note in there of what your paying for and I will post tracking in paypal.

It will work on your half ton with the master cylinder adapter I mentioned earlier. The pedal rod is included. I have a spare pedal rod that is for sale separately.

It will work for manual brakes. I will go out and make sure its still where I left it.
Your master cylinder will have a deep hole in the piston, to use this booster you will need the adapter plug.

I forgot to post back, I did find it but it’s missing a part. What year and model are you working on, I have one from a 72 1/2 ton is that i think is surplus.
