6 cyl ID
I'm trying to get an id on a 6 cyl engine.
The 73-87 truck site which list a ton of engines does not list it so maybe its from a car? This is the truck engine id site.. Its got a carb which I think is a venti-jet, air pump and an HEI with the coil on top of the dist. It has CAC stamped on the machined area of the block behind the dist. Thanks |

Any one with a link?
I've searched and searched with no luck other than the site above. Also if anyone is intrested in this engine, I'll let it go cheep. Otherwise I'll part it out. Thanks |

Might want to check inliners.org
If it has an HEI, it is '75-up for trucks if you want to narrow it down.

Thanks Capt.
I found through the block casting number that its a 73-79 L6 250. So with your help its now narrowed down to a 75-79. |
