Saved a 1955 3600 today
I bid on it at an auction last weekend and lost the bid. A couple of days later I was there to pick up my other items and I mentioned that the guy that out bid me on the 55 paid too much. The auctioneer said, "funny you say that, he never paid." I negotiated a fair price and set to work dragging it out of the front ditch it had sat in for 10 years. After killing the ants and wasps, I put air to all the tires and she lifted up about 3". I had a buddy help me flat tow it home today. She is pretty rough and probably not worth any kind of cosmetic restoration, but man after a little polishing it looks pretty cool. The cylinder head is off and the 235 engine looks rough, no carb. I'd like to get her running for cheap and use her a couple of times a week for errands.

Great story, nice truck. You don't have to put a fortune into a truck to have fun with it. Keep us informed.
