does anyone make a decent cheap seat cover for suburban front bucket seats

Guys my original seats have seen better days. Dont have the coin to get them reupholstered. Does anyone make a decent seat cover for the 2 front bucket seats for an 86 suburban?

everything is junk nowadays, I bought good ones for 80.00 and lasted a year. Find some good material from the thrift store and make a cheapy. Wife have a sewing machine ?

Classic Industries has Suburban Bucket covers, but damn, you got to buy the whole set. Front, 2nd and 3rd row!!

she does have a sewing machine. The guy i bought the truck from put old tshirts over old seat covers which are covering the original upholstery. Will cheapos from the auto parts store even fit decently?

Get them rebuilt and reupholstered, you'll be happier. That's what credit cards are for. I've found out over the years with this, is that if you throw a set of covers on, odds are they'll never get redone and just keep deteriorating to the point you'll have to toss them out.

I bought a pair from Cabela's for my military Blazer several years back that have held up well except for some fading. LINK

Several yrs ago we had stopped at the local bait shop on our way to the river to bait up our lines & some kids were gassing up a Black '56 Buick. The seats had been upholstered in some old quilts, white w/ big red flowers. I remember thinking that the Humming Birds would tote them off that summer...

Do you have any pictures of their seat covers in your vehicles? Decent price and their covers seem to fit well from what i have read
