How rare is a 1969 K10 Fleetside Short bed?
Someone said the 1969 K10 short bed fleetside I have is pretty rare? How rare? It needs work, but appears to be the real deal. I posted more pictures in the "Trucks for sale" area as this one is way down on our calendar and now it's for sale on EBay.

Great find. $8-12K to the right buyer. Extremely rare truck.
Just think, 1,649 shortbed K10s were built while there were 54,211 shortbed C10s built, that's only 3% compared to shortbed C10s.

Dang I didn't know there were so few of these produced. I think the guy I bought a couple parts trucks from has one of these too. I'll have to ask again if he's willing to sell.

There's probably 10X the number of cut down LWB or 73-87 frames shorties out there than real ones. Most of the ones I see are on a square body frame, or something newer.

Data only exists for Chevrolet. All GMC data was lost in a fire.
Chevrolet Numbers: http://outintheshop.com/prodnum.html It's been thought GMC production was approximately 1/4 to 1/3 of Chevrolet.

Not this one but the 72 K5 Blazer CST has A/C, an automatic and 3.73 gears. Both are in the "Trucks for sale" thread as its time to thin the heard around the shop.

Re: How rare is a 1969 K10 Fleetside Short bed?
A pretty solid truck. The core support, driver's side rocker and cab corner and all four cab supports are solid. Rust in the driver's floor behind the front cab support and the passenger side outer rocker and cab corner.
