Post Are all 6-250 power steering brackets the same?

I've got my front end apart on my '67 right now to replace ball joints, springs, steering linkage right now. I have a power steering gear box but not the pump. Are all the 6-250 setups the same? I called the locaal boneyard and they said they woould sell me a pump and brackets for $35.00 - sounded pretty good to me.

I also know about the frame notch too. Is it easier to put a notch in my frame for the gearbox or make a 1/4" thick spacer for under it?

I'm not sure if there all the same but I do know that the brackets out of some cars (like a Camero) will work!

most of the 6 cylinder 250 mounts are the same but the later model integral head engines the mounting to the head is different and wont work on the older non integral head engine they changed like around 78 i think

I got mine out of 73 Nova. Bracket is right, but I am having trouble with the pulley alinement. It was about 1/2" off from the fan and crank pulley on my 250 two grove. Got another pump that lined up right. Now the belt is hiting the nut on the alt pulley. What did you mean about the notch? I got a box out on a 71, are you saying I still have to mods?

Does anybody know if the integral head type bracket can be made to fit? I've called around and cannot seem to find any non-integral head type power steering brackets.
