Vintage air duct routing

Does anyone have any pictures of how you routed the ducting for your VA Setup? I’m not happy with how mine hangs low going to the drivers side vent. There has to be a clean way to route it.

I am in the middle of installing Vintage Air in my truck.

I do not have any pictures, but I ran the driver's side ducting up over the brake assembly, and snaked it towards the evaporator assembly.

I will try to take a picture tonight, but I am not sure how much you would be able to see.

I am not finished, but I think that routing is best for me.

I have mine over the brakes as well, I don’t like how low it hangs before it gets there. Definitely interested in your pics though.

OK, first pic of the dash. You can see the hose from the driver's side on the right.

I do not see any way to route it so it is not visible at the evaporator.

Second pic is from below dash. Hose is routed over brake pedal assembly, above accelerator pedal('72 style), and is routed between the VA switches.

I do not have the evaporator assembly installed yet, as I am doing a bit different installation than the VA stock set up.

I don't want to hijack this thread but zeroman is that a factory ac control panel or an aftermarket? I bought a replacement ac control panel because I am installing a VA system in my truck right now, and the one they sent me doesn't even have the same bolt pattern as the original non ac controller. I am going to have to make a adaptor plate to bolt it. Yours looks like it has the pattern I need.

I went through and re-routed it this morning. It’s a lot cleaner and it was probably silly for me to start a thread on this lol. Ty

There is a bracket that bolts to the A/C panel. I also need one..........haven't found a source yet. just started looking.

Yes, there is a bracket that comes with the Vintage Air Kit...
