drip rail repair

has anyone repaired their drip rails? I see there are posts about how you can buy replacements, but id like to see if anyone has pictures of fixing theirs.

the previous owner of my truck attempted to shave the ones on my truck and made a mess of it

Re: drip rail repair

I have new rails in my shed I won't be using. You can have them if you want to meet me in Regina sometime. I'll be down for a rider game a few times I hope this season

Re: drip rail repair

I did the drivers side. Just drill out the spot welds and spot weld the new one on. A little fitting but it wasn't too bad. The replacements aren't exactly the same but no one notices but me.
