Is Factory Original or Repop Grille?
Is this grille outer original or a cheap repop?
I need to know whether to find somebody to refinish this one of just trash it and buy another repop. Thanks. |

Need a pic of the top/upper inside of the grill with the hood up. All of the OEM ones I've seen have some type of dimples protruding upward. In the attached pic of my NOS outer grill you can see a couple of what I'm talking about. My old OEM grill had them also. I don't have a clue as to the purpose of them and have always wondered WTH...

Apparently the aftermarket grills do have the dimples also. Bought this from Classic Industries within the last 6 months or so and it does have the dimples, 6 total. No idea what they are for either.
