ECM mounting location
Originally I was planning to mount my ECM in the cab behind the seat.
Starting to consider mounting in the engine bay to avoid carpet bulging. Any pros and cons to either? Posted via Mobile Device |

Re: ECM mounting location
I you want it under seat you can run the harness under the floorboard over the top of the trans and come up under the seat....I put mine behind the dash....never again on a square....I'll go under or behind the seat.....

Re: ECM mounting location
Is the fuse block the reason why most people route it in the cab?
The ECM itself is normally mounted in the engine bay from the factory. The have a linty of space in the engine bay and could easily find a box for the fuse block to keep the weather out. Posted via Mobile Device |
