350 engine & TH350 transmission

For sale is a small block Chevy 350 with a turbo 350 transmission combo. Original engine from a 1970 C10, with engine block code V0818TAX (1970 350, a/t, 255 hp). The engine has a performance cam and a brand new Edelbrock performer RPM intake and Demon 650 Cfm carburetor. Heads have hardened seats. It also comes with a billet air cleaner, brand new HEI distributor and plug wires, new fuel pump, new starter and old headers. It's ready to run.

The engine has been cared for and never overheated. I recently replaced the filter on the tranny and internals looked great (no metal shavings, burned fluid, etc). I would recommend an oil pan gasket and rear output shaft seal while it's out though (slight leak from both). Otherwise both units run excellent and are ready to be bolted into a new Chevrolet home. The engine is currently in the truck so serious buyers can hear it startup and purr. $1600 for the whole setup. Feel free to message me with questions, I'm located in the San Diego area.

I also have a newly cleaned gas tank w/ new sending unit and a 4-core radiator that I will be getting rid of in lieu of an LS swap.

Re: 350 engine & TH350 transmission

How many miles on the engine and which heads does it have. Right or left dipstick? I have a 70 350 in my 72 and the dipstick is on the drivers side under the PB unit. PITA to get to. Wonder what shipping would be to Texas?

About 60k miles since I did rings and bearings only (looked good when I took it apart). Heads are stock 1.94 valves, I did new guides, valve grind and hardened seats. Unfortunately the dipstick is on the drivers side. Let me know if you have any other questions.
