Emblem Location

Installing a 292 in my 69 C-10. Can anyone tell me for sure as to where the 292 emblems were located on the front fender? Were they installed below the C/10 emblem or below the front side marked light towards the front of the fender. A picture would sure be nice if anyone had one, thanks.

Re: Emblem Location

Below the fender emblem on '69 & '70 Chevy. In '71 & '72 they moved to under the marker light which left room for the new Deluxe and Super emblems .

Re: Emblem Location

Thanks a bunch, I had already drilled one side under the fender emblem and thought I may have to fill those holes in. Appreciate it.

Re: Emblem Location

No problem. Always good to ask when in doubt. Sorry I couldn't find a picture

Re: Emblem Location

Not a problem, both sides are drilled and it will all be off to the painter before long. Thanks again.
