So, if anyone's still watching, moderate success! Eric plugged it into his tech 2 scanner last night and found the button to make it "idle learn", and it worked! Still flares a bit, but we expect that to calm down. Drives so great now! Thanks again to Eric, a God among men, for saving my ass yet again.

for plugs....relatively cheap NGK TR5 work well.
if you want a step colder plug TR6 is perfect.

The TR5 is a solid all around plug, tho depending where you buy you might get either TR5 OR TR55. (some stores show them as the same part). The plug is the same, but factory gap is different. Just gap your stuff before you run either, and you'll be fine.
