Tire & Wheel Measurements

Working on a 66 C10 with Western Chassis 2.5 inch drop spindles and 4 inch rear drop springs.

I went to the Summitt Racing website where have you take measurements of numerous positions for both front and back.

Trying to decifer how to use these measurements when specing out wheels and tires. I really would like to use 20x10 in the rear but only assuming 20x8.5 in the front. Bolt pattern is 5x5

Is that 4 in the rear and 2.5 up front or 6.5 up front?

Re: Tire & Wheel Measurements

Do you have a step side or fleet side?

I had a set of 275/50R17s on my 62 stepside with a 4 inch drop and they fit fine. I don't know how that compares to what wheel and tire you are planning on putting on but I hope it helps. Stepsides have different spacing than fleetsides.

If I were you I would look at the static drops thread and find a truck you like and ask the owner what they are running.
