Pink 71 GMC
I have a original Coral Ice Pink 71 GMC Truck, it is now painted 91 Chevy S 10 Strawberry. I am about to do a full restore on it, so the question is do I go back to pink and make it original or do I change color to something more modern.

If you don't love pink then change it.

Re: Pink 71 GMC
Here are acouple of pinkies to help you decide.. The Chevy was mine for 13 yeaes although not an original pink/white truck the color ws the main reason I bought it. The GMC is an original Coral Ice Pink 1971 GMC which the current owner bought from the original owners estate.

Re: Pink 71 GMC
I think the rarity is a neat factor today, however I would think it would have taken a guy very secure in his man hood back in the day to buy one. Can you imagine the grief you would get buying a brand new pink truck.

Re: Pink 71 GMC
I'd drive one just for the fun of it . Back in the day pink was just another color like coral and other art deco colors ,It didn't have the connotations it does today .

Re: Pink 71 GMC
Not a bad color. I like how unique.
I'd pass on the 71-72 deluxe paint scheme. It's beautiful with the white underneath, but then that's my favorite scheme. If only my truck was a 70

If I had one that cherry, I'd rock it all the time. I like purple also. Want to build a buggy and have that purple like the 70s dodges
